Maggie
My dog Maggie. She was one of the best dogs I have ever had. My dad found her crossing a 8-lane freeway and by the back of a Circle-K. After that, he took Maggie to the veterenarian where they found 116 ticks on her. This was in 2001. When she was six, we started noticing signs of the abnormal. At first, she started getting a nickel-sized lump, which we didn’t think much of it. A few months later it turned into a little more than a half-dollar sized lump. We started to get concerned after this point but, after all, there wasn’t much we could do. Just a few weeks ago (today is 10-15-07) we saw a huge, tennis-ball sized lump on this 10-pound chihuahua-yorkie mix. We made an appointment for 10-11-07, but rescheduled it to 10-12-07 to have her put to sleep. She passed on 10-12-07 at 4:35:45 PM.
